Awhile back we did a "challenge" in the RSA group where we had to choose a technique that we never used before to share with the group. You will recall that I did the wax crayon technique... today i thought i would try my hand at the rubber band embossing technique.
You will need the following materials:
Gold Embossing Powder, Clear Embossing Stamp pad, Acrylic Roller and Rubber bands
Tie the rubber band around the roller and roll it over the clear embossing pad and roll onto card stock. Be sure to roll the embossing rubber bands in one direction to cover the whole area that you want to emboss. Add gold embossing powder and heat with a heat gun until the desired effect is reached. It makes a perfect background to any card or scrap page.
I then coloured the page with some distress inks and added my stamped image and sentiment.
Rather pretty....
