Get Well Soon - Masking

About 2 weeks ago, my friend's husband fell from the roof and broke his leg, foot and arm and was hospitalised for 2 weeks to get the swelling down before they could operate on him.  He was feeling really depressed, so I made him a card to cheer him up.

I used the masking technique to merge two stamps into one image - the tree and water background and the adorable little teddy bear.  I used a punched circle for the sun.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts.  I added some glitter with the clear gelly roll pens and was quite impressed with the end result.

The patient adored my card and said that the teddy looked exactly the way he felt, but was glad that the teddy looked more in pain....
